Admission Process

  • Admission for the wards of serving personnel or ex-servicemen will be open throughout the year, subjected to the availability of seats.
  • Civilian admissions will be carried out only once a year, preferably in the month of November or December. Opening of admissions for the same, will be notified in advance.
  • New admissions must produce a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended.
  • An evaluation test will be carried out at the time of admission to assess the level of entry for the student. The result of this test will NOT be the basis for denying the admission, but it certainly will be used to fix the level of entry for the student.
  • Transferable cases from other Army Public Schools or CBSE Schools need NOT appear for the evaluation test, provided they have completed the academic session and produced an academic record.
  • The evaluation test will include syllabus of the class preceding to which the admission is sought. Details of the subjects assessed are as follows:

III to V English, Hindi, Math
VI to VIII English, Hindi, Math, Science
  • The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission: TC, assessment result, birth certificate, serving certificate, Adhar cards of the child, mother and father, medical certificate.
  • In no case any child of serving soldier, war widow or ex-serviceman be denied admission.
  • The admission of the child is at the discretion of the principal.
